LAKE ARTHUR — In conjunction with statewide Keep Louisiana Beautiful — Love the Boot Week, the Town of Lake Arthur is calling all volunteers to help with their 2025 Adopt a Block event Wednesday, April 9, from 5-7 p.m. Volunteers will meet at the downtown Lake Arthur Park.

LifeShare Blood Center’s mobile blood bank will be in Jeff Davis Parish throughout April to replenish the blood supply for residents in need of the vital resource.
