The Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s Office recently released the results of a biennial audit for Registrar of Voters Employees’ Retirement Systems, including Jeff Davis Parish, for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2023, and 2024.

A local man faced with attempted second-degree murder charges will now go before the judge this spring.
Children will have an opportunity to dress up and join in on the fun of the First Annual Courir de Mardi Gras Children’s Run. Hosted by Jeff Davis Parish’s Cajun Family Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association, the event is open to children ages 6–15. Participants will meet at 23256 La. 26 in Jennings at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1.
