The Jeff Davis Parish Emergency 911 Committee met Wednesday to discuss an issue with the new E911 supervisory position recently advertised by the JDP Police Jury.
Parish residents who desire to vote in the Dec. 7 general election and are not currently registered in person have until today, Wednesday, Nov. 6 to do so at the Jeff Davis Parish Registrar of Voters Office, located at 302 North Cutting Ave. in Jennings. Those who are unable to go in person can still register on the GeauxVote app or by visiting voterportal.sos. la.gov/VoterRegistration by Saturday, Nov. 16.
