Police Jury approves roads for asphalt overlay
A project to repair select parish roads with a new layer or asphalt is moving forward as the Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury recently approved advertising for contractors. The project includes asphalt overlay of 10.25 miles along eight parish roads. The cost of the project is a little over $3,575,000, paid through the current road sales tax.
