WELSH – The Board of Alderman here unanimously voted in favor this week of an ordinance to provide the official standards of electrical service to customers of the Town of Welsh.

Lake Arthur — A bid for the Louisiana Community Development Block Grant (LCDBG) road improvement project was approved by the town’s aldermen Wednesday. The bid for the project, which has been moving along over the past several months, came from L. Fontenot Trucking in the amount of $373,399.50, as recommended by engineers Aucoin and Associates, Inc.
