Lake Arthur — A bid for the Louisiana Community Development Block Grant (LCDBG) road improvement project was approved by the town’s aldermen Wednesday. The bid for the project, which has been moving along over the past several months, came from L. Fontenot Trucking in the amount of $373,399.50, as recommended by engineers Aucoin and Associates, Inc.
