In honor of Black History Month, Jennings Elementary School created a live museum to highlight the accomplishments of African Americans throughout time. There were displays from each grade level, as well as art from the older students and historical figures come to life. Principal David Reed was pleased to offer the event to both students and community members for the first time in the school’s history.
