The Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury recently approved various millage rate roll-ups to the maximum level agreed to by parish voters. A public hearing to discuss the millage rollups for 16 of the 22 taxable districts received no comments by the public voicing opposition. One amendment to the roll-up schedule was made, as Fire District No. 2 opted for “no change” to last year’s tax millage rate. Jurors approved rolling forward with the following tax millages:
