Private graveside services will be held today, Tuesday, April 21, 2020, for Roger Dale Gatte, 67, who died Sunday, April 19, 2020, at 6:44 a.m. at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.

Graveside services for Edwina Broussard Hebert, wife of Willie Ray Hebert, were held April 15, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Evangeline, with Father Paul Lafleur officiating.

LAKE ARTHUR - As we sit here, pondering the life of Marie Joyce Broussard Monceaux, who passed peacefully into the evening of Thursday, March 26, 2020, a thought comes to mind, over and over again. Eulogies of officials, soldiers, doctors, lawyers, business leaders and many others, all but compose themselves from resumes plush with notable accomplishments. But the life of a simple woman from a small community on a winding bayou in the south of Louisiana has no written ledger to draw upon. No such list of noted accomplishments. Her life speaks to us in other ways.

Lois Marie LeJeune Regan was born Sept. 26, 1942, to Rudolph and Lulia (Sis) LeJeune of Jennings. Mrs Regan passed away on April 7, 2020.
