JENNINGS — The family of Ms. Martha Ann Broussard Reed, 69 of Jennings announces her passing into the arms of her Savior on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023.

JENNINGS — Michael “Mike-Mikey-Worm” Steven White, 37, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Dec. 20, 2023.

JENNINGS — A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Marie Ruby Faul Guidry, 83, of Jennings will be held on Monday, Dec. 18, 2023, at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Trey Ange officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Garden of Angels with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating the committal. Arrangements are under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

GUEYDAN — The family and friends of Delores Cormier Trahan are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on Dec. 9, 2023 at the age of 88. Delores was born in Crowley to Clarvey Cormier, Sr. and Yolande Duhon on Sept. 27, 1935. She was a homemaker, who dedicated her life to caring for her family. Delores loved the time she spent with her children and all of the rest of her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

2-10-73 ~ 12-5-23 Memorial Service for Rebecca Gwen Charpentier Loupe, 50, will be held Saturday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church located at 4048 Par Rd. 211 C in Jennings.

JENNINGS — Mr. John Veuleman, 77, of Welsh, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 30, 2023.

JENNINGS — Ruby Beard LeJeune, 98, entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Ruby was born in Liberty County, Texas on September 8, 1925 to William Beard and Amenth Fontenot Beard. She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family, as well as a store owner and keeper. Ruby grew up in Evangeline. In February 1944, Ruby married her first husband, Gaflin LeJeune. Shortly after the end of WWII they moved to Jennings, where they lived for over 50 years until after his death in December of 1997. In October of 2001, she married her second husband, Clinton LaVergne, and moved to Mauriceville, Texas until his death in April of 2019. Ruby then moved to Fulshear, Texas with her son, Frederic and his wife, Theresa. Throughout her life Ruby loved to play bingo, sew, quilt and garden. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends making memories. Ruby was a kind and loving person who was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.

JENNINGS — Perry Lynn Lopez died Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23, surrounded by his loving family. He courageously fought cancers and is now with his parents, Perry and Katherine Lopez, who preceded him in death.
