Adeline Cormier, 84, passed away on April 14, 2023 in Carnegie, Okla., surrounded by her loved ones. Adeline was born to Albert Boullion and Eula Mae (Louviere) Boullion on Aug. 7, 1938, in Evangeline.

Jennings — It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel “Buddy” Myers announces his passing on Friday, April 21, 2023, in the comfort of his home at the age of 84.

Jennings — Mr. Junius Mouton was called home on April 18, 2023. Services will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until the time of service.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lt. Col. James R. LeGros (Ret.) will be held at on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings, LA with Father Keith Pellerin, Dec. Frank Cormier & Dec. Art Bakeler officiating. A burial will follow with full Military Rites in Andrus Cove Cemetery.

LAKE ARTHUR — A funeral mass for Mr. James Edward Stevens, 93, will be held Wednesday April 19, 2023, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, with Father Jay Alexius officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday April 18, 2023, in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Arthur from noon until 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m., and will resume Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time to leave for the church at 1:15 p.m.
