Another beautiful rose was called home from our family’s rose garden on Nov. 5, 2022, from The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in Lafayette to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Funeral services for Marlene A. Royer, 71, of Jennings, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Rev. Susil Fernando officiating. Visitation will begin Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, from 3:30-8 p.m. in Miguez Funeral Home Chapel, with a Cursillo Rosary recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume Saturday from 8 a.m. until the 9:30 a.m. departure for the church.

The family and friends of Valerie Lynn Rink are mourning the loss of their mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who was called from this life on Nov. 7, 2022, at the age of 71.

Hilda Chiasson, 93, of Welsh passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022. She was born Dec. 11, 1928, to Dominic and Pauline Broussard Leleux.
