BRUSLY – The Jennings Lady Bulldogs’ Cinderella run through the LHSAA Division II non-select bracket ended Thursday night at the hands of the No. 3 Brusly Lady Panthers. The No. 3-seeded Panthers shot out to an early lead, then pulled away at the end for a 52-28 win to advance to Marsh Madness at the Alumni Center on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University. The Lady Panthers forced 21 Jennings turnovers throughout the game and scored primarily on fast break chances created by forcing turnovers. Brusly moved their overall record to 29-6, while the Lady Dogs ended their season at 12-17. Brusly will do battle with No. 2 Albany on Wednesday in the semi-finals.
