It’s been more than a few months since I last had the opportunity to give my thoughts on the recent happenings around Jennings sports and Bulldog football. Not since late last season have I had thought of boring youwith my opinions of the day. Not that I haven’t had thoughts and opinions, mind you, I just haven’t assumed anyone else would be interested in reading them. Plus, let’s be honest, that’s what Facebook is for, right?
Ella Segura of Jennings recently won the state championship in the 1600 and 3200 meters at the Class 3A State Track Meet held at LSU. Segura was also named the Class 3A Outstanding Athlete at the meet, and helped guide her St. Louis Lady Saints to a 3A state championship as a team.
