RAPIDES – The Lake Arthur Lady Tigers (LA) upped their 2020 record to a perfect 3-0 Thursday night with a 77-34 thrashing of Menard High School at the Rapides Tournament. The Lady Tigers have continued to dominate through their first tests, using a balanced scoring attack and stingy defense.
WELSH - After playing yet another higher classification team, you would expect the Welsh Greyhounds to maybe get a break in scheduling. The Hounds lost to St. Louis last week and will now conclude the regular season schedule by hosting Lafayette Christian in a District 6-2A battle tonight. Lafayette Christian is the number one team in the state among class 2-A teams and have the number one player in the nation in senior safety Sage Ryan. The only loss suffered by the select school was to Acadiana High School in the first week of the season.
