Tigers beat down Oberlin, 77-22
OBERLIN — The Lake Arthur Tigers snapped a three-game losing streak on Thursday night by trampling the Oberlin Tigers by a final of 77-22 on the campus of Oberlin High School. The win moves the Tigers out to 7-7 overall on the season and they currently sit at No. 11 in the latest Division IV non-select power ratings. The Tigers placed nine in the scoring column in Thursday night’s win, including three in double figures. Kaden Guidry led the charge for the Tigers by popping in 16 points, while La’Nell Shankle chipped in 11 and Marlon Williams sank 10 points. The Tigers were back in action on Friday when they travelled to Elton to face the Indians and then return home on Monday to square off with the Hathaway Hornets in another parish match-up.
