Jeff Davis Parish District Attorney Lauren Heinen delivered a check for over $52,000 to the Jennings Police Department. The money is a direct result of JPD’s outstanding work seizing assets involved in or derived from criminal activity.
When law enforcement does the work, the DA’s office pursues the judgment and if won, the seizing agency gets a portion back.
