The city-wide boil advisory was lifted for those who reside in Jennings on Wednesday after officials called for the precaution due to a massive water leak that caused havoc on Monday.
Jennings Mayor Henry Guinn alerted residents to the advisory once water was restored the same day. Prior to that, water crews and subcontractors were called to the area to fix a water leak in an 18-inch water line.
