Ducks on Parade

Residents of the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home were treated to adorable duckling exploits recently, as a mother duck with a large brood of baby ducklings followed her about Lake Theunissen. Ducklings that swim together are called a “raft” as they paddle as a group. The little duckies also waddled about and jumped off the dock together, while exploring the peaceful grounds.
