ELTON — The Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a local man this week on an attempted second-degree murder charge.
At approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, the Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a shooting near Powell Road and Richard Street in Elton, according to a release from Sheriff Doug Hebert.
