WELSH — The new year brought two new faces to the Welsh Board of Aldermen — Charles “Chuck” Abell Jr. and Melward “Nookie” Doucet Jr. — who joined aldermen Andrea King, Lawrence “Booger” Mier, and Jackie Balmer.
After the swearing in of new aldermen, the meeting was business as usual.
The condemnation of the Prudhomme home on Martin Luther King Street was brought up for discussion.
