Thanks to a strong geomagnetic storm caused by a powerful solar event, residents of Southwest Louisiana caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights in the sky. Captured here, the Aurora Borealis made a spectacular appearance in the night sky above the Hathaway area earlier this week.
