The Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury recently approved changes to fairground facility fees with some rates seeing a 50% decrease.
Fairground Committee Chairman Wayne Fruge made recommendations for more uniform rental fees.
“I’ve received phone calls about renting the arena for various purposes,” he said. “And I’d like us to be more competitive in some areas with our fees.”
