The Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury approved moving forward with increasing various tax millage rates in a recent special meeting. A public hearing will be announced to discuss the rates available for increase and the various adjustments for each.
Of the 22 millage rates under review this year, the total current amount equals a little over $212,000 increase.
