WELSH — The Welsh Board of Aldermen voted to apply to the State Bond Commission for a sales tax bond that will help fund a much-needed street project in the town.
Mayor Karl Arceneaux said the money from the bond will be used to pave several roads, including Joseph, Derouen, Jane, Center, Anthony and Armstrong streets.
