RUSTON — Ruston police have arrested an Opelousas woman in connection with the 2016 murder of a Louisiana Tech University student.
Brandi Raney Franklin, 29, was charged with negligent homicide and obstruction of justice in the death of Nicholas “Nikko” Green. Green, 22, was shot and killed inside his East Texas Avenue apartment on New Year’s Eve 2016.
