WELSH — Welsh Fire Chief John Hall is planning to purchase a new fire rescue truck that will benefit the residents of Welsh and the surrounding areas.
As part of his five-year plan for the volunteer fire department, Hall said it was time to replace the truck they are currently using.
“This is what we call Unit 1,” he explained. “It is our main one. The one we have is 17 years old.”
