MERMENTAU - A Mass of Christian burial for Irvin “Choppy” Smith, 81, of Mermentau will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Mermentau, with Father Randall Moreau officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church beginning Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, from 9 a.m. until the time of his funeral Mass. Face masks are mandatory.
