LAKE ARTHUR — It’s Freedom Festival time again and Lake Arthur officials are on the hunt for nominees to be grand marshals of the main event, the Freedom Fest parade. The parade will run Saturday, June 28, along Arthur Avenue as part of a full-filled day of food, music, contests, games and fireworks. It’s a special day each year where Lake Arthur celebrates Independence Day as a community.
