The Jennings Police Department and Chief Danny Semmes made several arrests and wrote multiple citations in the last week as part of the department’s extra efforts to crack down on crime in the city.
Although Semmes said JPD is shortstaffed, all officers have been stepping up to the plate to clean up the streets.
