The Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury lost a valuable member of the parish and police jury recently as Owen Cormier, representative of District 12 passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Cormier died on Jan. 8 but is remembered by colleagues for his long legacy and dedicated service to his work in the community.
