WELSH — A resident approached officials this week to request additional amenities at one of the three town parks.
Eddie “Bruiser” Achan made a plea to Mayor Karl Arceneaux and the Welsh Board of Aldermen to add necessary restroom facilities and water at Bethune Park for area visitors. Achan acknowledged the work done on the park but said there could be more effort to add amenities.
