OPELOUSAS – The No. 1 Hathaway Lady Hornets saw a youth movement occur in their district opening slaughter of J.S Clark Leadership Academy on Tuesday night. Eighth grader Sienna Guidry poured in a game-high 30 points on an eye-popping eight 3-pointers, while seventh grader Ali Crader piled up 18 tallies in the win. Hathaway defeated No. 11 J.S. Clark by a final of 93-52 to move their dazzling record to 22-3 overall, and regained their No. 1 ranking over Fairview with the win. The Lady Hornets, playing without senior Chloey Guidry, placed four players in double figures in the blowout win.
