The Lady Hornets placed all 12 of their players in the scoring column, and saw five hit double figures in the win. The loss dropped the Lady Indians to 3-5 overall on their young season.

LAKE ARTHUR - The 5A Barbe Lady Bucs used their size, speed and an effective full-court press to defeat the Jennings Lady Dogs 59-52 Thursday nightat the Lake Arthur Tournament.
Lady Tigers fend off Southside, 36-32
LAKE ARTHUR – The Lake Arthur Tigers fought off a feisty Southside Sharks team Thursday night in the Lake Arthur Tournament to claim a 36-32 win at “Nookie” Moore Gymnasium. After trailing at the end of the first quarter, the Lady Tigers rallied in the second stanza to gain a lead they would never relinquish. The victory upped the Lady Tigers’ overall record to 8-3 overall, 2-0 in their tournament. Lake Arthur took on the Jennings Lady Bulldogs Friday night in the tournament finale.
