The Elton High School FFA recently joined local boy scouts to give retired American Flags a proper send off. The U.S. Flag Code, federal guidelines for displaying, handling and disposing of Old Glory, dictates when a flag is no longer suitable for display, it should be destroyed in a respectful manner, which include burning.
