WELSH — Registration is now open for the annual Hunter Safety Education Course hosted by the Welsh Police Department, giving prospective hunters an opportunity to earn the certification required to hunt in Louisiana.
The 13th annual safety course will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, and from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Welsh Firemen Hut, located at 115 Grove St.
