ROANOKE — A Texas man succumbed to the injuries he received after being struck by a vehicle along a highway in the Roanoke area.
On the evening of June 20, Louisiana State Police Troop D began investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on U.S. 90 near Farm Supply Road, according to LSP Public Information Officer Roy Jones. The crash claimed the life of 49-yearold Kelly Velayas of Texas.
