The Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury is nearing approval of a point-to-point agreement with Caldwell Parish in the event of an emergency. The Office of Emergency Preparedness (OEP) Committee discussed moving forward with the set partnership plan recently, in case of an emergency event requiring evacuation. JDP officials later finalized the details with Caldwell Parish during an in-person meeting.
