ROANOKE — A pipeline explosion prompted road closures between Jennings and Roanoke early Friday morning, according to Sheriff Kyle Miers. The explosion occurred just east of Farm Supply Road at the intersection of U.S. 90. Emergency personnel and pipeline crews responded to the scene shortly after.

The Jennings Police Department is asking the public for help locating two men wanted in connection with separate, unrelated investigations. Police are seeking Bryan Vincent Sr., 61, in connection with a reported domestic disturbance that occurred Sept.

Area music lovers will soon gather in downtown Jennings for some toe-tapping tunes during the free weekly concert series, Turn It Up Tuesday. Jeff Davis Arts Council, which presents free concerts each spring and fall, recently released this fall’s lineup.
