Right now, the state legislature has a chance to fix this mess, bring in more insurance companies, and cut costs for families and businesses. LAKE ARTHUR — Lake Arthur High School held its annual commencement exercises at Wilbert “Nooky” Moore Gymnasium Friday night and sent 60 graduates into the next chapter of their lives. The event started with an introduction of graduates by Senior Sponsor Macy Istre. Friends and family of the graduates were welcomed by Class President Keelie Arceneaux. Mallory Lyon then delivered her valedictorian speech and received the Valedictorian Award from Ashley Lutyhe. Lutyhe present- ed the Salutatorian Award to Ava Hall. Honor graduates were then recognized by Lutyhe. They were Mallory Lyon, Ava Hall, Kirsten Thibodeaux, Sophir Broussard, Jalea Prudhomme, Gabrielle Sellers, Keelie Arceneaux, Isabelle Chapman, Addison Abshire, Zachary Conner, Ayden Leblanc, Aaliyah Theriot, Layla McDaniel, Alayah Hornsby, Mathias Jones, Peyton Noe, Logan Brown, Ajai Ceballos, Rocco Leone and Kyra Landry.
