A local man faced with attempted second-degree murder charges will now go before the judge this spring.
Children will have an opportunity to dress up and join in on the fun of the First Annual Courir de Mardi Gras Children’s Run. Hosted by Jeff Davis Parish’s Cajun Family Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association, the event is open to children ages 6–15. Participants will meet at 23256 La. 26 in Jennings at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1.
