Park to receive sidewalk improvements
The Oil and Gas Park off Interstate 10 is projected to see upgrades to the sidewalk soon. The northern side of the .6-mile pathway encircling the pond will be expanded from its current width to an 8-ft wide paved space. The existing sidewalk only allows two people side-by-side to walk together or one person going in each direction.
