LAKE ARTHUR — The Town of Lake Arthur is kicking off many Christmas festivities this week. The showcase of Christmas fun starts with the annual Hall of Trees, now open to the public through Dec. 27. Residents can stop by to see the Town Hall decked with Christmas décor thanks to donations by area businesses and individuals. On Thursday, Dec. 12, city officials will judge local Christmas set-ups during the Yard and Tree Decorating contest. The annual Christmas Parade and a full day of Christmas fun takes place Saturday, Dec. 14.
