More than 140 ballot measures are going before voters in the general election. They include constitutional amendments in at least nine states to enshrine abortion rights. Numerous proposals would change voting procedures. In several states, voters will decide questions on raising their minimum wage, cutting property taxes and legalizing marijuana for adults. Other measures seek to toughen state enforcement of immigration and crime laws.
