LAKE ARTHUR — One Lake Arthur resident decided to take an idea and run with it after planning a garage sale to pass on a growing collection of never-used items. She has since turned her idea into a giant event with different garage/ yard sales happening simultaneously throughout the town. Resident Sherry Womack said she decided to invite others to join her in an community garage sale day with individual garage sale stops that received great feedback.
