As families and friends gather across Jeff Davis Parish and throughout the state to celebrate Thanksgiving, the Louisiana State Police would like to remind all motorists to make safety a priority during this busy travel season. After a one-year hiatus, the festive holiday hunt is back and will feature the introduction of a new character, Meaux Sneaux, as this year’s Christmas Festival theme is Winter Wonderland in honor of the great snowfall experienced in January.
