Barbara Jean Lewis Chapman-Green was born Feb. 1, 1947. On June 23, 2021, Barbara went home to be with the Lord.
She was the seventh of eight children born to Mabel Berry Lewis and Clarence Lewis in Lafayette. She accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Triumph Baptist Church in Jennings under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Jeff Peterson.
