Dear Editor,
I was raised in Jennings as my father was a minister and had a church there.
We walked a mile to school, rain or shine, since the school bus only transported kids that were outside of the city limits.
Jennings, at that time, was one of the cleanest cities in the state with no trash anywhere!
We look at it now and see where people mowed and let the grass go into the streets, houses are vac…
