Welsh sweeps through Vinton in district play

The Welsh boys and girls basketball team hosted the Vinton Lions in district competition Friday night. The girls game was tied 28 all entering the 4th period, and the Lady Hounds would outscore the Lady Lions 20 to 9 to get the 48-37 victory.
