David slays Goliath

ELIZABETH – The No. 13 Lacassine Cardinal baseball team made history here in Allen Parish on Tuesday night by shocking the No. 4-ranked Elizabeth Bulldogs by a final of 13-8. It was the first time in school history that the Cards have advanced to the quarterfinals in baseball.
