Four local softball teams saw their season continue on Wednesday when they were awarded playoff berths in the 2024 LHSAA Softball Playoffs. The postseason kicks off today and Jennings, Lake Arthur, Welsh and Lacassine all will participate. All four teams are competing for a chance to advance to the state tournament held in Sulphur in a few weeks.
